I have always been interested in jewelry.

As a kid I cleaned the showcase glass for my parents who opened their jewelry store when I was four.

As I grew into an adult I worked in a jewelry trade shop mentored by Gene and Glen Meadows.  My interest in gemology lead to the study of Robert Webster’s “Gems.” and the completion of the GIA courses in diamonds & colored stones.  Membership in the American Gem Society fostered associations with the pillars of the gem community.  An important stage of development was to a less commercial more artistic use of gems & metal.  I love a soft, organic sense in my designs. These flowy shapes grew from wax techniques that are additive via a hot tip and a building-up of each model.

My unique skill set continues to be appreciated by many clients and am also represented by the North Seas Gallery, Charlevoix Michigan

Thank you, John
