Anita Del Favero

Anita Del Favero has enjoyed metals since the age of 13 when she took her first jewelry class in school. In 1974 she received her Bachelors of Fine Arts in jewelry & metalsmithing from Wayne State University. She has won awards from the Michigan Jewelers Association, was the Vice-president of Michigan Women's Jewelers Association and established Your Jeweler's Bench with her brother Arturo in 1985. Her current jewelry is made by fabricating sheets of gold and silver into shapes and then brazing these pieces together.

Currently, Anita is assisting with the administration of the
Insituto Zoila Santos D. Pineda
in LaCeiba, Honduras
